LAUREL TEAMS UP WITH OLIVER — Laurel (Katie Cassidy) learns about some damaging information that affects Emiko (Sea Shimooka). Always looking to protect his sister, Oliver (Stephen Amell) invites Laurel to help investigate, which makes Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) happy as her friend is now working with the team. However, when things go awry, Felicity is forced to make a choice between the team and Laurel.

Katie again was on last night’s all new Arrow episode 7×15 – Training Day and look’s like they are setting up a Laurel vs Emiko storyline with both girls knowing who the other really is and not backing down from each other, I can not wait to see how this plays out with them both and the rest of the team. Next week is a full flash forward episode so I don’t thing we will be seeing Katie in it but she will be back the week after that. Over 150 HD screen captures from the episode are now up in the gallery

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS JUST A RUMOUR AT THIS TIME. But the news is coming out that Katie will be leaving Arrow some time after episode 18 is this true I have no clue with Arrow ending and her self being newly married she may want to keep close to home in LA now, Again this is just a rumour but if true I hope she would come back for Arrow’s last episode.
We got this covered – Yesterday we found out that Arrow was coming to an end after its eighth season, but fans of The CW’s superhero shared universe shouldn’t be worried about the fate of the Arrowverse, as all the evidence points to it continuing to thrive, just in new and exciting ways. Given that, it’s totally possible – maybe even likely – that members of Team Arrow will stick around the franchise, just on other shows.
One who apparently won’t be, though, is Katie Cassidy. A source has told We Got This Covered that the actress who’s been with Arrow since the beginning is looking to leave the Arrowverse for good this year. We can’t say anymore than that at this stage, but it’s believed that the star feels she’s been with the DC world long enough and wishes to move on to new challenges. It’s also probable that her mind was made up by the fact that Arrow is ending.
Fans will know that Cassidy has played Laurel Dinah Lance on the series ever since Arrow‘s pilot episode. Although, she hasn’t always portrayed the same Laurel. The original Black Canary was shockingly killed off in season 4, but she soon returned in season 5 as the Earth-2 version, who’s walked a path to redemption ever since. With Black Siren pretty much totally reformed by this point, you can see why the actress might feel she’s done all she can with her dual role.
It’s unclear at this stage, however, if Cassidy plans to leave at the end of season 7 or will stick around for the extra 10 episodes that’ll make up Arrow’s shorter final season. Either way, we shouldn’t expect to see Laurel-2 migrating over to Central City or the Waverider once the series is wrapped up.

Last week Katie post a video of some hair on the floor and a lot of people were thinking it was from Matthew but turns out it was Katie getting a short bob for the first time in year’s and it could not suit her any better if you ask me. She did this after the filming of episode 18 that is the big Canary team up so who known’s what this could mean.

With the news about Arrow ending the cast have been saying there thanks for the show and Katie has now post her’s.

Last week the news hit that the new season of Arrow will be its last with season 8 having only 10 episodes. It’s a sad time for the show, cast and crew but at the same time it’s better it ends on a high then keeps dragging on.
Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life… but you can’t be a vigilante forever.
Arrow will return for a final run of 10 episodes this Fall.
There’s so much to say… for now I just want to say thank you.

Arrow was back last night after it’s three weeks away and our girl was back as well, she only had two little part’s in the episode and both were about her friendship with Felicity that was great to watch but it was a little of if you ask me she was playing it far more earth 1 Laurel then earth 2’s but still nice to see her moving on more. Over 150 HD screen captures from the episode are now up in the gallery

EW – Arrow‘s original canary is coming home (at least for an episode).
EW has confirmed that Legends of Tomorrow star Caity Lotz — who originally played Sara Lance/Black Canary on the show before becoming Legends‘ White Canary — will appear in season 7’s 18th episode “Lost Canary.” As of right now, it’s unclear how involved Lotz will be in the episode; however, TVLine reports that the hour is inspired by the Birds of Prey, DC Comics’ female vigilante team, and will also involve Black Siren/Earth-2 Laurel (Katie Cassidy Rodgers). (It’s worth noting that this should not be confused with the Arrow season 2 episode “Birds of Prey.”)
Cassidy Rodgers shared a behind scenes photo Thursday featuring herself, Lotz, and a masked Juliana Harkavy, who plays Dinah Drake/the current Black Canary. “Girls rule #round2,” she captioned the team-up photo.
Obviously, this won’t be Lotz’s first appearance on Arrow this year. She made a very brief cameo in the superhero drama’s documentary-like 150th episode. Before that, she appeared in the season 6 finale, which saw Sara meet her sister’s Earth-2 doppelgänger when she returned to see her father Quentin (Paul Blackthorne) before he died.
TEAM ARROW ATTEMPTS TO WORK WITH SCPD — Team Arrow attempts to work with the Star City Police Department but much to Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) frustration, things don’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) gets some life-changing news

Katie was not in the last episode of Arrow despite her getting a note in the previous episode they said she was at a convention for the weekend so why make her a part of the storyline only to cut her out of it? Arrow will not not be back till March 4th but thanks to Far Far Away we now have HQ stills from the episode and Katie is in three of them and looks like her and felicity are up to something.
