With Arrow being back next week for it’s last five episodes of season 5 the CW have just released today a sizzle reel for what is to come and are girl had three little clips in it, two with Quentin and one were it looks like it will be new Black Canary vs Black Siren, Katie will be in the last two episodes.
Marc Guggebheim did a new interview with Variety about the season final of Legends Of Tomorrow and he talked a little about Katie.
Variety: Katie Cassidy is returning for the finale as Laurel. How was it having her share scenes with Sara (Caity Lotz) again?
Marc Guggenheim: It’s always a delight to have Katie Cassidy come back and reprise her role as Laurel. It’s just one scene but it’s an incredibly pivotal scene, and I think it’s very moving.
Variety: I was excited to see Katie was returning as a series regular to “Arrow,” but I honestly had my fingers crossed that Black Siren would become a member of the Legends.
MG: That was something we had talked about. For us, the whole conversation about bringing Katie back as a series regular on “Arrow” began with her performance in the midseason premiere. We briefly spoke about bringing her on “Legends,” but I think from a story perspective we would get far more mileage out of her interacting with the cast of “Arrow.”
Last night was the Legends of Tomorrow season final 2×17 – Aruba and going into it we did known Katie would have a part on the episode and it was what we were all thinking would happen a vision from the spear of destiny of Laurel giving Sara closure for her death. Still it was great to see the Lance Sisters reunited for a little bit. Screencaps from the episode are now up in the gallery and you can watch the clip below.

It looks like once again– Katie will be back on Arrow. Not as our beloved Black Canary but as Black Siren.
Katie Cassidy is returning to the DC TV family.
After her character Laurel Lance was shockingly killed off Arrow in season four, Cassidy is coming back to The CW series as Laurel’s evil Earth-2 doppelgänger Black Siren, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. She will appear in the final two episodes of season five before returning as a series regular for season six.
“One of the things that most excites us about Arrow is that we go where the story takes us,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim said in a statement. “Last year, the story took us to the tragic death of Laurel Lance. This year, our midseason finale reintroduced us to Laurel’s doppelgänger, Black Siren. We were so taken by Katie’s fearless interpretation of this character that we knew her story was not yet finished. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Katie back to Arrow as Black Siren, though as her appearances on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow this season show, she never really left the family.”
Cassidy first made her debut as Laurel’s evil metahuman twin from another universe on The Flash last season, where she was caught and imprisoned by Barry Allen (Grant Gustin). She was released from the STAR Labs pipeline prison by Arrow season five villain Prometheus (Josh Segarra) to cause emotional turmoil for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), as Oliver thought Laurel was miraculously resurrected by her time-traveling sister Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) on Legends of Tomorrow. When Oliver finally learned the truth, he caught her again with the help of Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) and handed her over to ARGUS for custody.
Over the weekend (March 25-26) Katie and a lot of her DC co-stars were at the first Heroes & Villains Fan Fest this time in Chicago. Katie did on day one photoshoots with the fans, autographs at her table and a Panel later on in the day and on day two just photoshoots and autographs. So far there is no info about the panel but it should come out soon till then enjoy some of the photos from the weekend in the gallery.

The 2017 DC PaleyFest took place last week in LA and although Katie was not there her self we did get some more info on the part in the upcoming season final of Legends Of Tomorrow season 2.
Guggenheim shared on social media that Katie Cassidy would be reprising her role of Laurel Lance in the Legends finale, and he says the scene was a long time coming. “I have to give a shout-out to Katie Cassidy,” Guggenheim says. “It’s only one scene, but man, she’s spectacular in it. It’s a scene we’ve wanted to do since the beginning of the season. We really wanted to get Sara and Laurel back together.”
“It was wonderful,” adds Lotz. “Katie and I hadn’t been able to do a scene together in years. She feels like my sister now, so it was very emotional, nostalgic, and I think people will really like it.”
But will Laurel pop up on any of the other DC shows before the season concludes? “I can say absolutely nothing,” Guggenheim says.
Back two day’s ago (March 16th) Katie attended the Ted Baker London Spring/ Summer 17 Launch Dinner in Chamberlain on West Hollywood, California. A few photos from the event have been now added to the gallery!

I have added in lot’s of fan photos from the session she did with all saying she was very nice and happy with them all if not a little rushed.

It’s a classic story – we went shopping after lunch, popping into Elements in Dallas like we have so many times before.
But this time, not wanting to overextend (we are building a house, after all), we went in with the promise that we could each only buy one thing, and even then, only if we loved it. A limit that put pressure on the situation but also forced us to really think about our purchases, rather than just collect them (an admittedly bad habit).
After perusing the sale rack, sick of sweaters and feeling the onset of Spring, we moved on to the new arrivals, getting wrapped up in the lace and gauze like we do every year once March rolls around.
Our arms full of silk robes, full-piece bathing suits and beachy two-piece short sets, we headed into the dressing rooms, anxious to find that perfect something. One by one, we tried on our selections and paraded them out for the other to look at.
Had we gone in without setting a limit, the likelihood that we each would have left with a handful of garments would have been high. Being excited about a new season can do that to you.
But we had a limit. One thing.
So we narrowed down our selections, played eenie-meenie-miney-moe and whittled our dressing rooms down to only those things we couldn’t imagine our closet without. And then we narrowed some more.
That afternoon, we each left with one thing. One really amazing thing.

When the first designer Target collab came out, we stood in line with all of the other crazies and stocked up. We have Missoni x Target [insert anything you can think of here] and 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target accessories we definitely didn’t need. It was mania and we bought it in hook, line and sinker.
But over the last few years, the whole Target meets designer collab thing has kind of lost its zeal for us. Maybe it’s the fact that they’ve exhausted the designers that are the most adaptable to the collab formula, or maybe we are just suckers for novelty. Either way, we haven’t paid much attention to the collab game as of late. (Although, we must admit we are more than the slightest bit interested in what Victoria Beckham has up her sleeve for this next go around.)
Don’t get us wrong, we still love good design at reasonable prices, but like anything, with mass hysteria and popularity, the high-pressure purchasing and eventual eBay onslaught is just not as fun as it once was.
But then came Sugarfix by BaubleBar for Target.
We’ve always been big fans of BaubleBar‘s more affordable approach to jewelry trends, and were over the moon when we found out we could find them at Nordstrom. But an even more affordable (and equally killer) line that we can pick up while buying orange juice and wrapping paper? Come on guys, you’ve outdone yourself.
